Texas waterski

Just spent a "work" day in Amarillo Texas (you know it for the Cadillac Ranch).  Met the proprietor of "Blue Sky Burgers", that like the rest of us has a love of flying.  I told him what we did for flying fun here so he generously offered to take me flying in his Rans S-7 - equipped to with the same 26" Alaska Bushwheels Airstreaks tires I just installed on my Citabria.

His "playground" is the Palo Duro Canyon, avoiding the state park boundries somewhat, and spotting wild pigs and ATV's stuck in the mud.  Lands anywhere flat and long enough.  As a bonus he demonstrated "waterskiing" on a patch of water we found.

We take visitors flying with us in the Pacific Northwest, pay it forward or pay it back, It's great to be part of this greater community.
