Miracle on the Hudson was some great flying but not the first water ditching where all survived

The media was quick to say that Airbus that ditched in the Hudson was the first ever ditching of a commercial airliner where everyone survived.

It seems that's not the case. Without taking away from Capt. Sully's incredible achievement, it's been done before. Back in 1956 it was done on a flight from Hawaii to San Francisco. Read on....
