What will it take?

what will it take to get pilots to fly in to DairyAir?

THIS farmer WILL allow flight operations to take place on the farm.

There has got be some justification for the 200 hours per year that I spend on the tractors cutting the grass.

Ideas?

He Jack, thanks for all the effort ,in my opinion You have a nice field the up slope can be somewhat intimidating if you're used to landing level , but for me the fence on the west side that still has the rubber of my tail wheel stuck on it is my biggest concern . My two cents worth :Ron.

I have installed larger, more visible markers at the fence line. I have also moved the orange cones marking the "earliest TD point" forward, making it less likely for a tail wheel strike.

Thanks for taking the time to respond.

Hi Jack,
I've been meaning to drop in try it out. I think I need to go in light the first time just to make sure I can get out again.
Lift has been crappy these hot days we've had lately and I use up a lot of that 1000' at King George.
I look forward to seeing you again, it's been awhile.

It's about time we got some birds together for a visit Jack. I am feeling a little guilty for not accepting your hospitality.

That 9% downhill grade at the beginning of the take-off run makes a big difference.

I'll be happy to introduce you to my motorcycle.

Both runways are fine, and the fly-through in ground effect feature of runway 20 has been tested by Bruce and his trusty S6.

Bruce did fine, He stayed in ground effect until he was clear of the wires (indicated by the flashing-by of the billboard), then climbed out over the freeway and came back for a successful landing on 20.

Just a reminder, runway 10 is one-way only.

All are welcome.

If something organized comes up, I'll be glad to spring for the hotdogs.
