Nav Canada Notice
Changes to airspace classification has been announced for the Pitt Meadows and Langley airports.
A control Zone classification change from Class D to Class C [transponder mode C required] will enable more effective and efficient provision of air traffic control [ATC] services at the Pitt Meadows and Langley airports.
These changes will take effect 14 February 2008 at 09:01 Coordinated Universal time. The appropriate aeronautical publications will be amended.
Note that the size of the control has not changed so that flight over the 200 street and highway no 1 interchange [Collosis Theater] will keep you out of both control zones.
Cheers Fred
