Salmon Arm Airport Appreciation Day

Airport Appreciation Day
The Salmon Arm Airport Airport Appreciation Day is held at the Shuswap Regional Airport in Salmon Arm, British Columbia, Canada. The 2010 event will be held all day Sunday June 27th. The event starts with a Pancake Breakfast at 8 am. Entrance through the gate is by donation. Ample aircraft parking for those that fly-in. A variety of light aircraft will be on display for viewing, with the opportunity to talk to the pilots to answer any questions

This fly out has been mentioned a few times over the last few weeks and now, here it is. Those who would like to make the trip can leave a comment so we have some idea who is going.There is a weather web cam available on the Salmon Arm flying club website.

Cortes Island fly-in


We had a great turn out on Saturday at Cortes Island. Eight airplanes flew in for a lunch prepared with almost no notice by our gracious hosts Jim and Diane. The weather was spectacular. We will have to do this one again.
