Oct. 23 2010

visit from Ian and Bob

Ian and his exceedingly well maintained, 912 powered Rans S-7.

Ready for the river gravel bars.

Bob and his fairly noticeable Zenair 701.

Great performance and of course the "R" in Rotax 912 stands for "Reliable" as we know.

Just about to fly off the intersection.

Love those tires.

And off to the West.

Check out that deck angle!

Skyward Ho!

Time to head home before the weather turns nasty.

Thank you for dropping in folks.

Call ahead for hot coffee Eh!

Phil and his Beaver 550.

touching down.

Runway 10

Phil over the wires for Runway 20

Notice the BC Hydro installed orange flags, wrapped around the power line.

The flags make the runway easier to locate, as well as indicating wind patterns over the thresh-hold.

Ready to alight.

Runway 20

Phil's fine amphibious 550.

A happy Phil getting set to kick the tires and light the fires.

Thanks for flying in Phil.

Drop in again soon.
