Impatient for the Franks

Break in the weather invited me to go check out the Franks on the Fraser location.  Wow, is there ever a lot of cottonwood snapped off and knocked down.  Have they really had those kinds of winds in the valley?  Landed at "the site", coasted onto some softer sand as you can see by my tailwheel plowing the south forty.  This isn't some west coast beach, stay on the pebbles!  In the cottonwood picture the sandbar is the one under the wingtip.
